East Region Office Training
The East Region training calendar for 2009/10 is available and this includes the following forthcoming training:
- Expedition Assessor Accreditation Scheme Transitional Course - The transitional phase for obtaining Expedition Assessor Accreditations will not be available after 31st December 2009. Therefore to enable existing Assessors who are eligible to go through the transitional route, East Region are offering the opportunity of accreditation before the deadline by providing two 3 hour transitional courses on 1st December 2009. The first course takes place 9.30 - 12.30 and the second 13.30 - 16.30. Both are being held at the Caldecotte Xperience, George Amey Centre, 366 Simpson, Milton Keynes, MK6 3AG and the cost is £40 per delegate with lunch provided. From 1st January 2010 all assessors who have not attended an EAAS course will be required to undertake the full day course training to enable accreditation. - BEL Tutor Training (BTT2), St Bride Foundation, Blackfriars, London - A full day which focuses on giving information to new and existing tutors of the Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership takes place on Tuesday 24th November. Cost: £100.00 pp. Application form can be found here
- WGL training will be held at Longrigg on the following dates: 12th - 15th December. Further details can be found here and the application form can be found here.
- Mountain Leader Training Course, 13th - 19th December at Sedbergh, Cumbria. Cost £410.00 per delegate. Further details can be found here and the booking form can be found here
- Hill Days - The DofE, East Region are offering experienced and qualified staff and volunteers from the region, who are prepared to work with individuals and small groups for two quality hill days 12th - 14th March 2010, to extend log book experience and walk with others. The Outdoor Education Advisory Service Course Booklet 2009/10

The Cambridgeshire Minibus Brokerage Scheme (CaMBS)
