They are open April to October but will only allow DofE at certain times - not Bank Holidays, July or August. Please note there are outside facilities to wash muddy boots – the site has only recently taken back DofE groups as previously a DofE group (from London) used the washrooms to clean their muddy boots and left them in a bit of a state…..

Karma Farm
8, Fen Bank, Isleham, Ely, CB7 5SL
Will A. Taylor Tel: 01638-780701 Mobile: 0790-096-1217
They would be very willing to take groups as their own children have all been involved with the DofE scheme.  This is a very small site with basic facilities- toilets, basins and cold water. They would probably have space for between 8 and 12 small tents but would need advance notice as they would probably not want to take other campers at the same time. They would charge £5 per tent for 2 people per night but may be able to arrange a discount! Please be aware this is a working farm so the young people would have to stay on the campsite and not wander around the farm unattended for health and safety reasons.

They would be delighted to take on any camping groups involved with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. This site has ample flat ground for many tents and 20 electrical hookup points along with a modern heated shower/toilet block that has a disabled-friendly suite. They could take up to 25 tents with a maximum of 50 at any one time if it is prebooked. Obviously they would expect any group to be well behaved and respectful of the surroundings that they are staying in. Bank Holidays may be difficult as they take a number of bookings at those times.

Parklands Holidays
Sutton Road, Four Gotes, Wisbech PE13 5PH
Tel: 01945 420505 / 420606
They would consider groups of this type. Depending on the time of year they could probably accommodate groups of 25 or more.

Quiet Waters Caravan Park
Hemingford Abbots, Huntingdon PE28 9AJ
01480463405
They already accept small groups participating in the DofE. As this is a very small site, advance bookings cannot be accepted. They are however, always happy to accept any number of small tents when they have vacancies, a phone call a couple of days ahead would be advisable.

Roseberry Tourist Park
Earith Road
, Willingham, Cambridge CB24 5LT
01954 260 346
It is possible they could accommodate a party but specifics could only be discussed relating to the time of year and party size. Their ability to accept a group of a particular size changes really quickly throughout the year.

Sacrewell Farm & Country Centre
Thornhaugh, Peterborough, PE8 6HJ
Tel: 01780 782254
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award groups are accepted as long as they are well supervised and keep in mind there are other campers to consider. Each booking is determined separately as it depends on how busy the site already is and the space they can allocate. If it is quite a large group they can allocate your own area but again it depends on numbers and space. Prices for a group of 20 or more paying people are per night: Adult £6.50 Child £5.00
You are also allowed up to 3 electric hook ups at £3.50 per night if needed.

Yarwell Mill Caravan & Camping Park
Yarwell, Nr. Peterborough, PE8 6PS

This caravan and camping park does take DofE. It is a small park so can only take one group/school at anyone time. They charge £7.50 per person based on a one night stay. They can take large groups as long as they are supervised well and have the room at the time of the booking, as they are a popular site for camping when the weather is good.
